  • You will work to deliver all levels of the pharmacotherapy service to GP practices and other healthcare professionals in the Inverness area and surrounding area, as part of a multi-professional team to optimise safe, quality, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines as an independent clinical pharmacist, delivering patient care via telephone and /or face to face consultations.
  • You will have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and be on the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You should have a relevant postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience.
  • You will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills alongside a commitment to learning and development.
  • The successful candidate will be encouraged to complete the NES Post-Registration Foundation Training programme or General Practice Clinical Pharmacist Framework as appropriate.
  • You will be an independent prescriber or be willing to work towards this. Independent Prescriber training would be supported if not already achieved.
